Odina album 2 fundraiser
Dear family and friends,
I’m Blanca, but as many of you already know, I release music under the name 'Odina'. In order to finish the recordings of my new album, after a grant I applied for didn’t come through, I’ve decided to set up this private crowdfunding campaign. The idea is that you can pre-order the album, and when it’s finished, I’ll send it to you in digital format. For those of you who can contribute £25 or more, you’ll also receive a physical copy (CD or vinyl, depending on what I can produce). It's a fun, theatrical, magical, non-sensical, surreal, time-travelling album that I hope will bring you and other people some joy, or at least a smile once it's finished :)

About this album
This album is my most ambitious project to date. It’s a completely new direction, inspired by the sounds of the late 60s and early 70s (The Beatles, Beach Boys, etc.): a baroque-pop, surreal, ironic fantasy where I’m using instruments like harpsichord, viola da gamba, or string quartet. I’ve finished 4 tracks and a music video already and have begun recording and producing 6 more, which I’m aiming to complete by early 2026 (snippets and video of the process below). This album feels like a real step up for me artistically, and I have big hopes for what it could do for my career.
Your contribution
I’m very close to finishing the recording and production of this album, but an ambitious project like this is much harder to fully realise and self-fund than the projects I’ve made in the past, as there are a lot more instruments and the arrangements are a lot fuller—which means more musicians and more costs. While I’m hoping a label or distributor will help with costs such as vinyl pressing or promotion down the line, for now I would love your help to finish the recording part of the process, so I have the best chance of sending the work around to more people and finding a good deal for it.
Your contribution would help me complete the recording and production, and allow me to pay everyone involved properly, including my lovely producer Beni Giles (who has produced incredible albums in the past, like the Mercury-nominated Is Your Love Big Enough? by Lianne La Havas). It would also fund a couple of final recording sessions with instrumentalists, including a small string quartet session in a decently sized studio, plus mastering costs.

What I can offer in exchange
I would be hugely grateful for any contribution of any size. As a thank you, I would like to give you a digital download of my album once it’s finished, and for anyone able to contribute 30€ (£25) or more, I would also like to give you either a physical copy of my new album when it’s released (either CD or Vinyl depending on what we can produce).
If you can or want to give anything extra beyond this, it will go straight into helping me continue my music and career as an independent artist. I truly value everyone’s support through the years—whether you’ve bought a record from me, come to support me at a show, or simply shared kind words about my music. I’ve always felt such strong support from my family and friends with my music and artistic career, and for that I’m incredibly thankful. It all helps me keep going and means much more than I can say.
